Belfast Area Partnerships (BAPs) is the coming together of the five area Partnerships to facilitate a city-wide approach and to enable more effective liaison with other agencies operating in the city. While each Partnership focuses on its specific geographic area, each has identified the need to communicate and work purposefully with the other area Partnerships.
BAPs has been identified as the most appropriate way to coordinate and share the work of the area based Partnerships across Belfast and between Belfast and other cities. BAPs offers a more strategic approach to the sharing of information and good practice, which will enhance the work being carried out at a local level.
The Chairs and Chief Executives of each of the five Area Partnerships, and other key staff, meet on a monthly basis, and occasionally events are organised which bring together a wide range of voluntary board members to look at specific issues.
