Connswater Community Greenway March Events

Connswater Community Greenway has a number of events taking place in March. 

These include:

C.S. Lewis Square Art Workshop

Date: Thursday 10th March
Time: 1pm - 3pm
Venue: Holywood Arches Library
Cost: Free
Audience: Suitable for everyone

The C.S. Lewis Square will feature seven amazing public art sculptures based on characters from the author's famous Chronicles of Narnia, and you can get involved through different art mediums. 
Join the Connswater Community Greenway team at this free art workshop, based around the Robin sculpture planned for the square. Colour in a robin which will be part of a short film using flip motion art. Your art piece will be featured in the final promotional film. 
Artist Maurice Harron, who has been commissioned to create the sculptures, will provide an update on his work so far, and there’ll also be a chance to hear more about the other characters who will be recreated within the square.

Orangefield Park Stakeholders Meeting

Date: Wednesday 16th March 
Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Venue: Orangefield Park Pavilion
Cost: Free
Audience: Suitable for everyone

The Connswater Community Greenway would like to invite local people and stakeholders along to an evening in the Orangefield Park Pavilion to share your experience of the park and how you use it. 
We would love to hear your stories about the park or any ideas you may for programmes or activities at this section of the Connswater Community Greenway.

Connswater Community Greenway Hard Hat Tour

Date: Thursday 24th March
Time: 11am - 1pm
Venue: Starting EastSide Partnership Office
Cost: Free
Audience: Walking involved along uneven surfaces. Adults Only. 

Join us to get access to new sections of the Connswater Community Greenway that are currently under construction and have never been seen before by the public!

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for walking and with the weather in mind. Hi-vis vest, hard hat and lunch will be provided. Places are limited so please register early to avoid dissapointment.
