Connswater Community Greenway launch 2016 Calendar

Last year the Connswater Community Greenway team had an open call for pictures taken along the Greenway to be used for the 2016 Connswater Community Greenway Calendar. There was a great response with many wonderful pictures submitted. The public were then asked to vote for their favourites on Facebook with the winning photos being chosen for inclusion in the calendar and the photographers winning prizes kindly sponsored by Connswater Shopping Centre and Retail Park

On Friday 15th January the calendar was officially launched at Connswater Shopping Centre with the winners of the photography competition.

Iain Gregory took first place with his Kingfisher photographer which was captured in Orangefield Park and received a £100 Connswater Shopping Centre Voucher. In second place was Gerry McNally with his Reflections of Victoria Park photograph and received a £80 Connswater Shopping Centre voucher. In third place was Vera Gilmore with her photograph of the Swans in Victoria Park and she received a £50 Connswater Shopping Centre voucher.

The Calendars are available in an At A Glance version and a month by month version. You can pick up a copy of the Calendar by dropping in to the EastSide Partnership Office (Monday – Friday, 9am -5pm (closed 1pm - 2pm for lunch). Please note there are only limited copies and once they are gone they are gone. You can also download the Calendars here.
