Lord Mayor Alderman Gavin Robinson launched the Walking off the Blues event at Arches Health Centre yesterday.
The event is FREE and aims to promote mental health & well being and physical activity. Walkers will also have the opportunity to learn about local wellbeing and walking groups which they can become involved with.
Today a number of East Belfast traders groups came together to meet with Belfast City Council in East Belfast Partnership to discuss the way forward for the 'Backin East Belfast' campaign.
Last night the Holywood Arches traders meeting continued in Espresson East, Belfast. This meeting had the highest turnout to date with around 50 traders in attendance.
A number of new traders groups are emerging in the Lower Castlereagh, Holywood Arches and Newtownards Road areas of east Belfast and groups have already been established in Ballyhackamore and Belmont Road. If you are a trader in any of these areas why not consider getting in touch with your local group?
